Curriculum
Students at Northern Sydney Intensive English Centre study the Intensive English Program developed by the New South Wales Department of Education Multicultural Programs Unit.
The Intensive English Program is divided into four progressive levels and concentrates on all language skills students will need for a successful transition to high school:
- Oral Interaction
- Reading and Responding
- Writing
As the levels progress, students acquire increasingly complex language skills, knowledge and understandings in a variety of contexts.
